Booking-in procedure

Upon arrival, your vehicle is fully photographed, with the mileage and any issues recorded in our system. Your car will then receive a Vehicle Condition Report sheet for the duration of its stay, detailing any issues that may arise, such as battery condition, tyre pressures, and any fluid leaks—see our Active Storage Programme for more information on our comprehensive vehicle storage solutions.

Active Storage Programme

All our cars benefit from the 5-star treatment of our Active Storage Programme, designed for your peace of mind. This includes:

Regular Tyre & General Condition Check-Over

Ensuring your tyres are at the correct pressure will extend their life. We conduct a thorough visual check of your entire automobile to identify and mitigate any potential expenses that may arise in the future, and we will inform you of any issues detected.

Regular Engine Run-Up To Working Temperature

We will check oil and fluid levels, then run your car to operating temperature and notify you of any issues found during this process.

Regular Battery Condition Check & Charge

We ensure that your battery is charged to full capacity. Our CTEK battery conditioners continuously monitor the voltage of your car battery. Whenever the voltage drops below 11.0 volts, the battery conditioner automatically recharges the battery back to full capacity. For older cars, we can disconnect the battery if preferred. Access

We provide a service tailored for enthusiasts, understanding that you may want to take your car out whenever you wish. Owners can easily "Drop & Swap" with their daily driver—just give us 48 hours' notice for any planned arrangements. We will always strive to accommodate your plans and the weather!

24/7 Drop off & Collection - by prior arrangement

Secure "out-of-hours" collection and drop-off. Your vehicle will be parked under CCTV coverage, behind electric gates, ensuring safe indoor car storage. Keys are kept in a secure key safe, or preferably, customers can use their own key. Unique key codes will be provided on the day. Please note that this service is limited in availability and must be pre-booked. You are welcome to leave your daily driver with us during your automobile storage.

Secure Car Storage Solutions

Long-term storage - minimum term 12 months contract

£199.00. PCM, Inc VAT. This includes access to our premium automobile storage, offering exceptional indoor car storage and various vehicle storage solutions.

Mid-term storage - minimum term 3 months contract

£240.00 PCM, Inc VAT for secure indoor car storage, providing excellent vehicle storage solutions for your automobile storage needs.

Exclusions

Please note that we do not offer storage for electric vehicles, camper vans, caravans, or boats. Additionally, there is a 10% surcharge for any car storage space that exceeds 4.4M in length.

Auction consigment service - 6 week contract

From £360.00, then option of either £20 per day thereafter or converting to a longer term storage option.The service includes a full professional valet/detail, handling all viewings and enquiries, and the final handover. We can also advise on which sales medium would best suit your vehicle/needs.

Storage Terms & Conditions summary

All prices for our automobile storage services are plus VAT. The minimum storage period for indoor car storage is 1 month (please check on availability and current prices). Payment for vehicle storage solutions is monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed by both parties prior to storage. For longer-term storage, it is preferable to set up a standing order or Direct Debit payment. Invoices are payable on receipt unless otherwise stated on the invoice.

Vehicles will not be released from Hideaway Secure Ltd premises until all outstanding payments have been cleared. Prices may be subject to change – if so, 3 months' notice will be given. A 48-hour notice is required for the removal of the vehicle, although we will always try to accommodate requests if possible. Any person other than the owner authorized to collect the vehicle from storage must show proof of agreement to do so from the person who deposited the vehicle.

All contact details must be kept up to date with Hideaway Secure Ltd and any changes must be notified. Any account overdue by more than 30 days will incur an interest charge of 6% per month compound calculated from the date the payment was due until payment. By placing a vehicle with Hideaway Secure Ltd, you agree to accept the terms and conditions.

Insurance

We carry full liability insurance, and our indoor car storage rate includes coverage for vehicles valued up to £250,000. For those seeking automobile storage for vehicles valued at more than £250,000, we may apply a small additional charge based on the vehicle's value, which we can discuss during your enquiry. We recommend that owners maintain their own insurance cover while informing their insurers that the car is in secure storage. We are happy to assist with this when considering vehicle storage solutions.
